In 6th grade the unit grammar is the past verb to be. As you know, the verb to be has got two meanings (ser o estar). We are learning how to organize a sentence in affirmative, negative and interrogative.
For example:
+ On Sunday I was at the park.
+Yesterday they were at the swimming pool.
- On Wednesday she wasn't at the shopping centre.
- Last Friday you weren't at the school.
Were you at the bowling alley? yes, I was // No, I wasn't Was he at the library last Monday? yes, he was // No, he wasn't
If you want, you can watch the video that we saw in class. Click here.
